A self-taught artist, traveller and a strong believer in compassion and peace in the world, she is a woman with a vision to form a community where people connect with each other through Art. Born and raised in a small town of Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur she had dreamt of becoming an ‘Engineer’ because that was the only path she had an exposure to. Providing attractive financial stability, she stayed in the IT sector for 5 years. But something was missing inside her, maybe the simple joy to be happy with her work. Painting was the saviour here; it became a form of meditation for her in those days of chaos. She always enjoyed making something out of trash or making sketches, it took her almost two and a half years to finally come to a realisation that her hobby is not just a hobby; but this is what keeps her going. She started ArtDelight while she was working and now running it full time professionally. So far she has conducted more than 150 workshops and connected more than 3000 people with Art.
